    Before you buy or sell, get an appraisal!
    Pufferbelly's Grading Standards:
    TCA STANDARDS (pg.29, Spring, 1997 Vol.43,No.2A " Directory of Information"
INFORMAL APPRAISALS:
(up to 10 pieces)
  • no inventory/appraisal list prepared
  • no written details of condition of each item
  • no appraisal memo with signature
  • usually, no fee!
FORMAL APPRAISALS:
(sets, small, medium, large collections)
  • Includes itemized inventory/appraisal report
  • Includes itemized details of condition of each item
  • Includes appraisal memo and signature
  • Fee required, usually @ $10 per hour with total fee agreement stipulated in Appraisal Agreement
  • Includes copy of the written Appraisal Agreement between client and Pufferbelly's of Waco
TRANSPORTATION/SHIPPING & HANDLING costs will be determined on a client by client basis, and stipulated in the Appraisal Agreement.
